Lt1 no start*did tons of research*

Lt1 no start*did tons of research* Hey guys I have a odd no start condition that has left me stranded and couldn't make it to work twice now.
THE STORY
I have a 94 lt1 z28 camaro, the car runs amazing it never skips a beat if you drive it everyday. Now I got off work Friday drove home sat all night left my house saturday morning started fine went to a buddy's left there and it started fine again. Then the car sat all day yesterday, went out to start it today and bam no start has fuel but no spark. I found a ton of info online about both spark issues and everything I test checks out other then no spark out of the opti. Now most people will say replace optispark but if I wait til about 1pm the car will most likely fire right uplace. Like it did the first time this happened to me. Any info would be great. Because I hate missing work

Do you have an ALDL cable and Scan9495? If so, plug it up and see what it says. If not - get one. No owner of an OBD1 LT1 should be without these two tools.
How many miles on the opti? If you have actually tested everything else and its all pointing to the opti, I'd kinda go with that..
