When I get home, I will provide a better audio recording using a RODE shotgun mic aimed at the engine bay. I was using my phone's onboard mic and camera, hence the noise isolation/compression.

I hear an exhaust leak, but nothing I heard sounds out of the ordinary? Sounds like the sewing machine of ever other LT1. Nothing really stands out from what I can tell, other than the exhaust leak.

I'm going to heat up my food (not using my car to do so) and then upload a pic of the header's slip-fit connection.

Alrighty-Oh. Uploaded.

Maybe you could try squeezing another muffler clamp in next to the one that is there? You might even be able to find another type of exhaust clamp online that would work better. I know exhaust leaks can screw up your AFR so the car might even run better if you get it patched up.

you can see the black spot where it leaks. Not a fan of that kind of clamp. Pull it off and separate pipe. Hit it with a wire brush to clean it up and buy some exhaust sealer compound at the auto part store (walker or permatex) and a better band exhaust clamp

What clamp do you recommend? I searched for clamp recommendations on the forums but I am only seeing results for the y-pipe and such.

What does it sound like?

I should add that the engine was warm when I filmed the video. Warm, hot to the touch, etc. I burned myself removing the serpentine belt.
Sounds like the combination of an exhaust leak and a loose rocker arm to me.

This. Most LT1 engines have that weird sewing machine sound. Only one that I have seen that doesn't is a 17K mile impala SS.

After they've been pulled, checked for flatness, and shown to be out of spec. Its not a "routine maintenance" thing.
