Default Deleting evap and other item

Can i rip this crap off my 96 z28? I need to pull my valve covers off to adjust my rr's and they are annoying. Can i get rid of both items in my pic??? I have a obd2 scanner i can delete the code with!

I've never had to take them off when taking the valve covers off.
You'll have to find a way to vent fuel vapors away from the engine bay. You'll then be emitting them into the atmosphere which will devastate the ozone layer and we will all burn up in a fiery ball of death. You will also fail a safety inspection and possibly an emissions test if it applies.

Thats a lot of vapors to blow us all up!!! I dont think its working anyways, my fuel tank is always pressurized when i take the cap off. No safety inspections here in michigan!

Apparently i have to pull the alternator to get the vc off this sucks!!!

evap is actually worth keeping as you will burn more of the gas you put in your car.it may be worth relocating it but I would not delete it.

I deleted the evap a long time ago. IIRC I put a check valve on the end of the line and ran it up into the drivers side fender area and tucked it above the plastic fender well cover.

the lt1 alternator is about the easiest alternator to pull off a car. It's seriously like two bolts, a pig tail, and a wire.
