Default lt1 no start

Took the car out a bit today. Got some gas. On way home I got on it a bit. Got to 4500 and bucked missed and backfired. Almost sounds like it hit fuel cutoff. Right then and there it got immediately worse and worse. If I revved it real slow in neutral it would sometime go to 6k and sometimes it would stop at 4k. Anytime you punches throttle real quick it would pop and or misfire it got me home, shut car off. Wouldn't start. Hooked up my laptop and got a err 36 or 38 high res fail. I've had that code pop up before but I think it was because my NEW AC Delco Opti has that stupid new connector and I didn't have that extra tab trimmed quite right, well I got about 10k miles on that so I'm not sure where to start...Does this sound like a faulty Opti once again even though the Opti is new? Or bad fuel pump..The thought of doing another opti almost makes me sick. After this car will be getting the for sale sign I'm afraid. Once I get time to get my fuel pressure gauge from my garage I'll post my findings, I'm praying that it's the fuel pump.
95 trans am. Stock internals 140k miles.

Unfortunately with the high res fail its your opti, but it may only be a loose rotor, dirty cap, but either way youre gonna have to pull it...But check FP anyway and maybe the angel of mercy will be looking your way...

I'm hoping and praying. I noticed my WOT O2s have been slightly leaning out so I changed O2 sensors and problem didn't change and has slowly gotten worse. So I'm begging and praying that fuel pump got weak and then died. I've thrown a high res code a while ago but I wiggled my connector and it went away. Today though it never set a cel it was just on my ECM trouble codes. Also a tachometer code I've never seen before. I'd have not seen the codes if I didn't plug in the laptop and just used my scanner so idk if it saves them until I clear it or not...So fingers crossed on bad fuel..I think the suddenness of the issue may give me hope..My last OEM Opti got the low res code never the high res..So unsure of the difference between starting. Before car would start and drive but now won't start at all

Okay so hooked up my gauge and at KOEO I get 20 psi..While cranking my gauge drops to 0 and after I let off cranking gauge springs back to 10 psi. Engine will kind of diesel along like it wants to start. I'm hoping and praying that the fuel pump is the only issue and that ECM code was long ago stored. Anyway, I'm glad I already have the hatch door cut in my trunk. When I get around to pulling it all out I'll post another update.
