LT swap question

LT swap question Help, I'm a noob at this kind of swap, and have limited funds. I got a great deal on a 94 LT1, low miles. I want to drop it into my 87 Silverado, and use the stock TH400 that's in it. My question is, what flywheel/flexplate combination do I need, the motor had a factory 6 speed, I've gotten all kinds of advice on it, been told I could use factory flywheel that's with the 400, also been told I could use the LT's flywheel with my stock converter. Any advice would be truly appreciated.
The 94 LT1 uses a one piece rear seal, if the motor in the 87 silverado is stock, then it is a one piece rear seal also. Use flywheel on it & put on the LT1. I don't know much about the 400 trans, does it use a kickdown cable? If so, you may have to find a 93 LT1 throttle body to get that to work correctly, I believe it used a kickdown cable as well.

I haven't crawled under the truck to see about kick down cable, but it is the stock 305 in it. That's great news, thanks. I've even been told I had to custom order a custom made flywheel, so maybe I'll actually have it up and going this weekend.
