I have a 1995 z28 AUTO with 150K miles on it ...I got 2 main questions . 1st is my car hesitates when I hit the gas to accelerate . what can be causing this problem ? 2nd is My OIL PRESSURE goes up when I accelerate when I stop it goes down to the red bar on the dashboard ..

I'd check fuel pressure first. Your fuel pump might be dying.

The second issue: change your oil. See if that helps. Lt1s run fairly low oil pressure at idle so it might be in the normal range.

My car did the same exact thing as this ^ and it drove me crazy! After you check your fuel pressure as ElkySS suggested, have you ever changed the plugs and wires? Mine ended up being a cracked plug and some arcing wires. Hope you can get this solved! Keep us updated.

if your fuel pressure is good (holds pressure at WOT) you don't need to replace fuel pump

WAY easier to check fuel pressure than change a pump
