Default Adjustable Borla Catback/cutout Dilemma

So I recently traded my stock 2OTL catback for an adjustable Borla catback. I already have a manual cutout welded into the I pipe so I just bolted it up to that.

I bought the Borla used, and it didn't come with any of the plates. It was completely open where the plates go. To me, even with no plates in there, with the cutout closed, it's still pretty quiet to me. By the way, I have LT headers and ORY.

I've been thinking of getting a DMH cutout valve so I have the convenience at the flip of as switch and the ability to run it partially open/closed to find a happy medium.

I know a lot of guys put the DMH where the adjustable plates go, but that wouldn't really gain me much being that I think it's too quiet even with it completely open. But it also seems a little counterintuitive to put it where my normal cutout is. What do you guys think? Just looking for opinions here. Thanks!

What's the difference putting it in your manual cutout location in the mid pipe or where it would go in the Borla setup? It would still be a longtube/catless sound. You can't make it much louder other than running straight open headers...

The more I think about it, the more I think I'll just put the dmh on my existing cutout and leave the borla wide open like it is.
