Hi i had a dipstick problem .. my engine oil dipstick was too short (from another engine) and i had to pour 8 quarts to reach the full mark on the dipstick. i didnt read the manual at that time but now i know it only takes 5 quarts the things is i always had oil leaking thru my engine oil cap and i thought that it was a bad cap so i replaced with a new one that didint let the oil to leak so now the car leaks oil from both front and rear crankshaft seals

too much pressure right? so my question is.. if i remove all the extra oil and only keep the 5 quarts that the engine needs.. I need to replace both crankshaft seals anyway? or they will work fine whitout the extra pressure?
(when the oil was leaking thru the oil cap the seals didint leak)
sorry for my bad english
