Hypertech help. Could any one tell me how I might get my hypertech programmer flashed. I bought it new from summit. Haven't used it in a while. And when I did the battery went dead during programming. Now it want sink to my cars' computer. I had to buy one out of a road master 95 from the Savage yard. To crank it . Could anyone help me?

Looks like you bricked the ECM. This happens when a failure occurs during flashing the ECM. The ECM can be repaired but requires the chips be removed and flashed separately. Then placed back on the board and flashed again with the factory calibration. Ive fixed a few bricked ecms like this.
Your hypertech programmer is vin locked. There is a possibility of repairing your ECM and coding the vin to match so that you could possibly unlock the programmer. But I haven't seen this done before. There was a person unlocking older hypertech programmers but I'm not sure if they do it any longer.
I have a programer for 94-95 LT1. I don't use it any longer as the keypad has missed up. Its unlocked and ready to go if your interested. All you would have to do is place your working keypad on it.
