Corvette Oil Sending Fitting on an F-Body

I'm wondering if anyone has put an oil sender fitting from an LT1 Corvette on their LT1 Camaro/Firebird. I attached a photo of each below to show the difference, the Corvette one sticks farther out the back and I'm sure it'll thread on, I'm wondering if it'll hit the firewall or something on our cars.

Reason why I'm looking into it is because I plan on running some aftermarket gauges. I'm using the plugged port above the oil filter for my oil temp sending unit and I'd like to retain the factory oil pressure sending unit so I figure the extra port on the Corvette fitting would be a great spot to put an aftermarket oil pressure sending unit. I'd also like to retain the low oil sensor in the pan as well so that's not an option.
