Default Fresh rebuild no start

Hello motor junkies. I have recently finished a fresh rebuild with my lt1 motor i have new bearing all arpund new rings a cc503 and full bolt ons. I came across a problem to where my engine is installed but is cranking really weirdly. I have a video link please watch and tell me what ypu guys think could possibly be wrong. Eveeything is coneceted other mods i forfot to mention is i have 1.6 rocker arms lunati double valve springs and a brand new 2400 stall torque converter.

Sounds like the starter is not engaging the flywheel/flexplate. Either the batter is too low to run it over, or the started is misaligned with the ring gear or something.

Well I wouldn't panic and worry about the motor not being put together right yet it's not even starting. Something is causing it to smoke check your starter and see what kind of condition it's in the solenoid might be screwed.

starter, also confirm battery is full charge

many chose the "vette" starter because it is a gear reduction type, smaller and cheaper than a regular starter. Autozone
