Default Tuning my Torqhead LS1 computer

Hello

I have a newley built 383 stroker by Karl Ellwein #85. I will need to get a chassis Tune. The engine is a LT1 stroker. The computer system is a Torqhead system, which is a LS1 computer with the full wiring harness, coils etc (like 24x conversion). Everything will be correctly hooked up, and installed. I emailed a place here in Virginia with the set up information. They said they wouldn't tune anything that's not an original LS1 system. Has anyone had experience with this?

Thank you!!

Apparent, the people you called originally are too stupid to be trusted with you car.

Who's doing the install? If you know they'll do the install correctly, I would think they should also be able to tune it.

If not.....just call another shop that does LS tunes.

If they try to tune it as an LS, Run away as fast as you can, just because its an LS pcm, its still and LT motor...
