Size of A/C compressor rear brace bolt
Size of A/C compressor rear brace bolt I just found out during my head swap that my compressor doesn't have a rear brace. I bought a brace off ebay but they didn't include bolts. Does anyone know the size of the bolt that goes into the block? I tried 3/8-16 and 3/8-24 with no luck. Does it have some funky thread spacing?
Seriously. He called it perfectly again. I was hesitant to chase the bolt hole in case I picked the wrong size but I used a 3/8-16 chaser and basically started a rust avalanche. Now that all the rust is out of the bolt hole, it works great.
