Default Rebuilt 93 LT1 overruling issue

Here goes , I've been reading posts on here for a while but never posted. I've recently rebuilt my 93. It's bored 40 over, new cam and pistons. The car runs great . The only issue is the car mixes fuel with oil and also produces black smoke out the tail pipe around 2,000 rpm. The car does have a 340 lph fuel pump , which I know is bigger than factory . Also has 24 lb per hour fuel injectors . Fuel pressure when idling runs 47-53 psi at the rails . I have a new fuel pressure regulator ordered to put on. I am just wondering if there are any other suggestions ?

your FP is to high. Put the new FPR on. Without the vacuum line connected to FPR you should have 43.5 lbs. It will drop to around 35-38 with vac line on.

change your oil if it smells like gas

Is the PCM tuned for the cam?

I believe the 93 LT1 has 22lb injectors, if you changed to 24lb you also may need to reprogram the pcm.
