Fuel Pressure Question
Fuel Pressure Question Im looking to send my pcm off to get tuned. I was wondering though what my fuel pressure should be around on my 383 lt1 with 36lb Trickflow injectors and a 255 walbro fuel pump.

The stock regulator only opens up so far. And with a pump that produces more flow it will create a higher pressure in the rail due to the stock sized regulator. Unless you get an adjustable regulator you WILL have more pressure at the injectors.
I know this thread is old but how much could the pressure raise ? i cant run the motor without the tune and gotta have a guess at what the pressure would be at with a stock regulator and 36 lb injectors with a 255 walbro pump.

You could just use a fuel pressure gauge to see what it is with the larger pump and bigger injectors....I believe the FPR bleeds off anything higher than 43.5 back to tank
