If returned with in the 14 day return period there is a 30% restocking fee and customer pays shipping. If damaged or abused etc no returns. Basically there doesn't appear to be any sort of a warranty even a 30 day one. The seller had good feedback, apparently is AES certified and has an LT1 Camaro. If seriously interested, I would contact him via email and see if you can arrange a phone call conversation to ask questions and see if the seller seems like a person your willing to trust. The price isn't back and you might get a very good engine.

I would want to make sure I had an emergency repair fund of at least another $3,000 in case unexpected things happen. Like that motor has issues and needs a full rebuild 800 miles after you install it in your car or truck.

With that said Thompson Motorsports, Texas Speed and probably several other vendors can probably provide you with a similar engine for a little more cost with a warranty. I would also contact those companies and discuss the project.

Best of luck on your project.

First, do you really need that many question marks and exclamation points in your titles?

Second, you'll get better results with the heads and cam swap that you mentioned in your other thread, depending on the condition of your current bottom end. How many miles are on it, and how's it run now?

Didn't think it was a big deal.
The car has 30k on it now, it runs well.

In that case, try a compression/leakdown test if it's still assembled, and if it checks out, some LE2 or AI195/200cc heads with a decent cam would probably fill your needs. Your stock bottom end is better than the one in that listing, until you get into the big bucks going forged. In which case, it's almost not worth it until you add in a ton of money for great heads and some porting.
