LT headers and y pipe help for a 95 Fbody
Hey all, I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times but older search results end up with bad links and discontinued products.
I'm looking for headers with an egr connection (don't care about AIR but I assume any with egr will have air) and all the proper o2s and a y pipe that has a cat or cats or one that can be cut for cats (and then which cats).
It would seem the hotness for headers is eBay stainless ones but I can't find any with the egr connection anymore. I'm considering pacesetter coated headers but since I'm rebuilding I'd have to install them on car after the break in and it would be nice to install them on the engine while it's pulled out. I don't want painted or uncoated headers, I've had too many problems with rust in my life.
As far as the y pipe the kooks one is the only one I've found with cats but for 700 it seems cheaper to add cats to an eBay one. Also it seems that the best y pipe is the mufflex one. Has anyone added cats to it or does mufflex do custom work?
Also just to be sure whats the proper number and location of oxygen sensors for a 95 obd1 LT1? One in each manifold and one before the cat?

95's came with one cat after the y-pipe. 96-97 had one cat per side. are you wanting to convert to one cat per side? if not I recommend Random Technology or Magnaflow if you're on a budget.
95's had 2 oxygen sensors, one in drivers side y-pipe and the other in passenger side manifold.
