Are LT1 and LS1 brake hoses interchangeable?

Are LT1 and LS1 brake hoses interchangeable?

Hello,

I need to get longer front brake hoses for my LT1 with the LS1 brake caliper upgrade. It looks like the LS1 brake hoses bought brand-new will connect right in two where my LT1 brake hoses went. I am not sure though, does anyone know or has anyone done this with success?

They should thread right up to the hard lines on your car, both are 10x1 thread.

I was about to say why would you use what I would expect to be me more expensive Corvette hoses over the OE correct hose for the car...but the c5 hoses are like 3 or 4 bucks cheaper under my NAPA account, good info. Here's the c5 part # if anyone wants it UP-382405. The c5 hose is about 3 inches longer though...so be careful the line doesn't get rubbed.

LS1 f-body hoses are a tad bit longer because the caliper is larger. Suggested to use when changing out from LT1 to Vette brakes. Don't use Corvette hoses for either f-body ls1 or vette calipers. Way too long.
