Default Tuning help

Hey. I’m new to this site and I’m looking for some help. When I search I can’t really find what I need. I just got my hands on a ‘95 Z28 M6. It’s a 9:1 LT1 with ported factory alloy heads, BBK TB, mad optispark, 60# injectors, P1SC intercooled procharger, 3.73 rear, basically stock BW T56 and stage 4 ceramic clutch. Anywho, I have Tunercat software for it but the best part is that I have no idea how to tune with it cause I don’t really know what I’m looking at in the tables. I guess what I’m asking is if there are any programming gurus on here that would mind looking at a bin file and telling me if I’m on the right track or not. I’m trying to get it reliable and safe tuned. Not trying to get every ounce of power out of it. If I can get it tuned and the bugs worked out the engine and transmission are ultimately going into my wife’s ‘68 Firebird. I just have to make sure it’s not faster than my blown big block ‘70 chevelle.
Thanks for any help and direction.

TunerPro RT (http://www.tunerpro.net) will give you a much better view of everything in the constants, tables and scalar hexadecimal values that constitute the tune stored in the E side and T side of your PCM. $EEHack is also a great tool that's been in development and testing for 2 1/2 years (http://www.fbodytech.com/eehack-2). Similar views of the constants, tables and scalars and comes with a built-in flash tool as well. The 2 biggest things are going to be Volumetric Efficiency ("VE") tables and Spark Advance ("SA") tables. Plus TONS of other stuff that needs to be taken into account for a holistic well tuned package. The authors of both of these tools hang out extensively at gearhead-efi.com. Not that ls1tech's site doesn't have a lot to offer for tuning (there are a number of very well established and respected LT1 tuners here regularly), but gearhead-efi is a dedicated EFI tuning site (any make you can think of, almost).

All that said, feel free to post up sections of what you're concerned about, have questions with, etc. and you'll get a lot of responses. $EEHack author is also here pretty regularly.
