How should I connect my opti vent hoses?

How should I connect my opti vent hoses? So before gutting my engine bay, my opti was vented below the TB into the manifold, and in the intake tract just before the MAF.
After swapping manifolds, I now have a different optispark vent port(the one with the check valve) connected into the driver's side of the manifold, beside the PCV port.
Is this correct, or should I block that off at the manifold and connect the vent tube to the CAI?
