Default Best Throw out bearing Lt4 Vette?

Looking for the best throwout bearing for my competition clutch stage 2.5. The throwout bearing included seems kinda cheap. Anyone use this TOB ???

well in attempting to add pics to my response it wiped out 2 and all the text

so the "LT4" TO bearing is a square top one which is thicker than the LT1 and has a square shaft the fork goes on vs the round one with one pointed side the LT1 has

this forum is now hit and miss on posting pics successfully

The centerforce N1401 is for a 94-96 vette. It is squared, this matches the one in your pic. This will work on a 96 z28?

Okay thanks a ton..i will be ordering it. I also ordered the national PB 656 HD pilot bearing. I wish the comp stage 2.5 clutch kit came with a valeo pressure plate but im stuck with the china c70043 PP but i haven't heard too many bad things about it. Also got my flywheel resurfaced so hopefully this goes together good and shifts smooth for awhile!

The Comp, just like all the other brands, use the same "clone" PP. Rarely you will find a N.O.S. store brand with a re-boxed OEM Valeo clutch

I had the 2+ for awhile. My H/C motor it was OK but with the 383 it was not enough clutch. Otherwise it was fine

IIRC the National 656 is a "bushing" not "bearing". I have always used the bearing with a Tremac trans.

Yeah the comp 2.5 is going in my approx 330rw z28. I meant to say bushing, after reading i decided on a bushing over a bearing.
My SS has an approx 425rw 383, m6, and 8.8 rear with 410s and i have either the spec 2 or 2+ in it. Holds well.

I thought about getting that PP neutral balanced? If they already didn't do it at comp.

If the motor is internal balanced than you would need to have FW/PP zero balanced.

absolutely have the FW & PP neutral balanced if your motor is internal balance

For my stock external balanced motor the Comp 2.5 was a direct bolt on

Its a stock shortblock with 113k. So no need to balance PP.
