Wagon - V3.0 - next steps. Ideas?

Wagon - V3.0 - next steps. Ideas? The wag will go through smog for the last time early 2019. The bottom end was built for post-smog shenanigans, so its all forged, 4 bolt main with mildon caps, etc etc. My thoughts a couple of years ago when I had it built was to eventually go turbo, but looking at S/C now too. (I had a 525i wagon that I threw in a late model M3 engine & trans and an Active Autowerke s/c and really loved the way that car drove.) Then again, I have seen numerous late model LSx's on CL and the like for an appetizing price. There is currently an LT1 with trans out of a 2016 Camaro SS, with all the electronics, and 18k documented miles, for $5k.
I am thinking that the least expensive option would be to get some new heads, and a custom cam and add a turbo or two, along with a 24x conversion (Torqhead). But that late model LT1 is a curious option...
