Default Lt1 intake swap to carb

So I have a 94 Lt1 I知 putting in a 32 roadster and debating on going carb intake. I have read people doing it but my question is what transmission do they use since 94 has lock up solenoid and other trans components? Stand alone module? Swap transmissions?

Depends what kind of trans you want to run. Non computer controlled trans, like a th350, 400, 200r4, or 700r4 or a manual and you can run it no problem just load a tune into the computer for a manual trans and it will be good to go. Computer controlled 4l60 or 4l80, and you'll need the appropriate inputs and a standalone controller if you're going carbed.
