Default Tunerpro guys come in lt1

Goodmorning guys. After 3 months we finally had a trackday. Im happy because i did get a new PR (12.895@106) but.....like a month ago i adjusted my rev limit (using tunerpro and uploading it with eehack) to 6700. I used the MSD to set my rev limit at 6300 and set my shift light to 6100. After uploading the file and hooked up the scanner and see that indeed the light turns on at 61 and car revs till 63. This is with the car in NEUTRAL standing in my driveway. Yesterday at the track the engine CUTSOFF at 57/58-ish (wich was the stock rev limit) in every gear (6 speed manual). I did not bring my laptop with me to the track so the only solution was to lower my shifting rpm to 5500. For the rest of the night the car ran great but i know i has more left in it. What did i so wrong. Help 1994 OBD1 M6 (BTW my tachometer is wayyyy off that it hits past 7k on it (pointer cant go more) while i am at just 58ish. I made a chart)

I use hptuners instead of tunerpro but in that program there's a parameter for tachometer output resolution. If that number is off, the tach will also be way off. Maybe you have something similar going on with your tach. As for the fuel cutoff, not sure. Unless the PCM actually thinks you're near 7K when you're not.

Have you checked your fuel pressure at WOT at those RPM's? Had the same thing happen around 4k and it ended up being my fuel pump going weak and dropping pressure as the RPM's went up. Run a fuel pressure gauge out of the back of your hood where you can see it from in the car and do a WOT pull and see if it drops or stays around 43psi.

Test the coil and ICM first, then fuel pressure with load to make sure that it’s getting sufficient fuel pressure. If none of those then could be the opti if it’s an un-vented opti or original/old. ICM is my guess they can do that before they go out.
