what do you think about this package? What do you guys think about this deal? I am in Houston so I would have to pay state sales tax, but do you think this is the best deal for what I am getting? ...or do you know of a better place, with better price?

Sounds like the racenet.net package. Its a very nice/reliable package and strong enough to handle a good size cam with fast ramp rates. But you can get that package any day of the year from them, why the hurry?

Yeah, from what I've read the racenet package is pretty good. I've checked it out before.

stock should be fine, but if you have really high milage, it would be safest if you just buy the stock replacement lifters from Comp. Im running them on my 224 cam and they have seen 6500 rpm numerous times on accident.

The hot cam kit doesn't have a lot that that offers That package is a very good deal. But the timing set is questionable. I have found that a timing set for the 94 Impala is better than the extreme duty set, but if you have a 96/7 it won't work. And you're also gaining on the rockers. The aluminum aren't near as good as the Pro-mags
