Sounds like the racenet.net package. Its a very nice/reliable package and strong enough to handle a good size cam with fast ramp rates. But you can get that package any day of the year from them, why the hurry?

Yeah it is racenet. I didn't want to put their name since they may not be a sponser of this site. I am was in a hurry because I want to order this soon, while I have time to work on it. I also have to add the lifters in too. I remembered them after I posted this. So that is another $165. This stuff gets expensive!

So you guys think Racenet is the way to go?

unless you are going with a massive cam, stock lifters are perfectly fine

Yeah, from what I've read the racenet package is pretty good. I've checked it out before.

So are you saying not to get new ones, my old ones should be fine? ...or get the stock replacements from IRS?

I value all your opinions and I appreciate all you guys help!
Thank You,
Jayme

stock should be fine, but if you have really high milage, it would be safest if you just buy the stock replacement lifters from Comp. Im running them on my 224 cam and they have seen 6500 rpm numerous times on accident.

your missing stuff. the hotcam kit doesnt come with dual springs or 10* locks and retainers. both these items raise the cost a fair amount. it also doesnt come with new pushrods.

The hot cam kit doesn't have a lot that that offers That package is a very good deal. But the timing set is questionable. I have found that a timing set for the 94 Impala is better than the extreme duty set, but if you have a 96/7 it won't work. And you're also gaining on the rockers. The aluminum aren't near as good as the Pro-mags
