High idle hard shift
I have a 95 lt1 trans am. has cai and catback exhaust. so i just put in a twin 58mm throttle body and now my idle rpm is between 1000-1500 rpm and it wont shift out of 1st untill 3000 rpm at about 20-25mph. i cant seem to get the set screw to turn and my volt meter broke so idk what my voltage is set to.

Some scanners will tell you the TPS voltage, but you are going to need to use that set screw. You can also damage your trans if this is not set up properly.

That set screw should only be set where you can barely see daylight coming out of the throttle blades. Your IAC is supposed to control your idle. Get a Haynes manual from any parts store for a LT1 and it will tell you how to check the voltage on the throttle position sensor. Most likely the voltage is high. (I think) you can still buy an adjustable TPS, or elongate the holes in your stock one so it can be adjusted accordingly. As shbox stated, get this done before driving it any longer.
