Default First mods

Can you guys give me some opinions on some of the first mods I should do. The first thing I want to do is buy an aluminum intake elbow (vortech / trick-flow) and definatley a CAI (moroso or K&N) and headers. For the headers I am most likely going to buy jet hot long tubes. Please give me some opinions on what might be a good start. I already read the sticky at the top, im just looking for some opinions/advice. I dont want to do a H/C package right now, just some basic bolt ons. Maybe some suspension pieces. thanks for the help.

First things i got when i bought my camaro were a LPE CAI, Flowmaster Cat-back, and jet-hot Lt's. I really couldnt be happier with the decision, both performance gains and sound was definatly worth it.

I suggest CAI, a good exh all the way back then at least sfc's. without the sfc's your wasting alot of power to the ground. teh best mods are to let the engine breathe in and out.

Yea like they said a good CAI and full exh, and underdrive pulleys are a nice little bolt-on too. They don't cost much and you'll fell a nice differents. And the elbow doesn't do **** power wize, if you are planning on a nitrous or supercharger set-up then that's a nice thing to have. Well have fun modding!

if you want suspension changes go with tried and true eibach prokit, just get the ls1 kit. the front springs are linear not progressive. itll lower it but not too low. youll need new shocks though. so go with bilstein HDs or KYB AGX which are adjustable. not wanting to lower it but corner better? get a 35mm solid front sway bar from suspension techniques or a hollow 36mm bar from strano performance. get bigger rims too. 17X9s at least. no need for a strut tower brace or lower control arms if you do lower the car. sub frame connectors arent a bad idea, but they will not make the car handle better. not like changing the front sway bar out. for more suspension and brake stuff go here. www.frrax.com
