Default Stepper Motors for my cluster.

Looking to buy 1 stepper motor for my 95’ firebird formula’s cluster. temperature gaugeneed to be replaced. temperature shows 160 even when the car is all the way warmed up.

Question is, where do i purchase just one of these? i’ve looked on gmpartsdirect with no luck and amazon just shows newer model stepper motors.

edit: has anyone used someone to rebuild their gauge cluster? maybe a shop located in the US that rebuilds pre 2000 clusters?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Have you proven that the gauge is the actual issue? I think stepper motors came much later.

I have no idea. just wanted to replace motors and see if that fixes the problem. and you’re right, they’re not steppers, they’re movements. follow up question, i tried to put a trans am cluster from a camaro into my 95 formula, and the only gauge that worked was the MPH. do i need a GM dealership to recalibrate the cluster to work for my formula

I don't think there is any calibration that is done, but there very well might be some pin differences. You can find both pinouts on my website.
