Can you unplug the wires to the switch and see if the fans stop working?

So I just checked the switch to see how the wires look, and there not even no wires connected to it. Which is weird, cause it's just a switch with no wires connected

God only knows.... It could have been a fan switch at one time and dude who did the switch then tried to patch it back up....

LOL that's what I'm saying, it had to been a reason that switch got put there. The blue and white wires which I thought was connected to the switch leads to the shift performance bottom. What should I check next? Relays are good and this swhich is fake 😂😂😂 I did notice under the fuse box located in the engine bay, a wire that leads to the driver fan, the one that doesn't work. It looks fresh, like it was recently put there. Maybe I should check that out. If thats good I'm pointing towards pcm.

Hard to say. A schematic may help you figure out what that's to. Could be someone trying to tap that wire for a signal or power. I do know there is a purple wire that goes to the starter solenoid. Maybe some sort of remote start bullshit. Who knows....

Your right it does lead to the starter. But there is another purple wire that also leads to the starter as well. Because besides the long cranks it still start so I don't think it's affecting that component, I could be wrong thought.

Update guys : I manage to find a shop to fix my fans since the previous owner hotwired them to run at all time. But why did he? I'll get to that soon. The mechanic managed to rewired my fans back to stock so they run like stock instead of being on all the time. So While he was watching the temp he notice that my temperature was rising, almost to the point of over heating, so he cut it off. He ask me has the car overheated before and I told him no not really. He brought up that he thinks he knows why the previous owner had wired the fans like that. He walked over to my engine and took the oil cap off and Walla, yellow color under the oil cap. Even clear water was dripping from it which I couldn't believe it cause that only meant one thing... BLOWN HEAD Gasket 😱😱😱😱 which explains the fans being on at all times, sweet smell coming from the exhaust and last and not least.. Overheating. Alll the symptoms of blown head gasket. Sheesh. I was surprise, but kinda not cause this is lt1 problems. The mechanic said he can fix it for 1800. Take it to the machine shop get the heads resurface, put it back to together its done. So while he's doing this, I'm thinking of throwing a small cam in there while the engine is open up. Im looking for a cam I can use on stock heads, comp cam seems more logical. I looked at hotcams, but I'm leaning more towards CompCams since they got kits for a good price. What you guys think on the whole situation and cam opinions?
