Tach dead
well a 7-10 day turnaround is now turning into several weeks while they wait for parts that they ran out of to arrive...
me being impatient as I am I pulled the msd unit apart that I had and cleaned it and reinstalled it into the car...while the car was apart I installed new plugs/wires/another msd coil I had and a gm icm and some non ign related parts(new electric wp,powermaster alt,o2 sensors,and new injectors)...
now b4 all this the car would cut out and occasionally backfire and sometimes the tach wouldn’t work...
now after its even harder to start and no tach at all ( I do however have a rpm signal on my scanner just not on the tach)...
does this his sound like an Opti related issue or should I be looking at something else
btw it’s a 96 with a 383lt4 auto....msd box/coil/Opti crank position sensor deleted from pcm....
