Default Transmission issues.

Have a 95 Z28 6spd and I changed the transmission mount because my transmission was jumping and making god awful sounds at the higher end of acceleration, like the transmission was rising up and something was rubbing. But now after changing the mount, I cannot put it into reverse. And it makes a god awful sound when I push the clutch in. I know the transmission needs to be gone through 100% but I dont have transmission money. I just need it to get A-B any of you guys run into this, or have any suggestions on what It could be? I appreciate y'alls help.

Is it making the god awful sound when it's in neutral and you're pushing the clutch in? Or you push the clutch in and try to put it in gear and it makes the noise?

Either the clutch is not disengaging or the reverse lockout solenoid is engaged or both? See if the slave cylinder line has been pinched as well as harness to RLS, or make sure it's plugged in.

It's making the sound only when the clutch is engaged. It will go into gear. And if you accelerate it takes right off. But push the clutch the sound is right there.

Possible bad throwout bearing. You may be headed for taking the trans off the engine to see what's happening.

I think so too. It needed it when I bought it. They rigged it up to say the least.
