Default My stock lt1

Hi All! New to this forum, I have a 94 z28 I purchased a few months back. Car was sitting for two years, and had overheated (reason it was parked) I got it tore it apart resurfaced both heads new gaskets yada yada. The car only has shorty headers and exhaust. A k&n cai, shift kit, and that piece on the Tb. The cars fun for what it is but I’m looking for more power, any suggestions on rockers, cam, springs etc?

If you'd want to jump to a 10* retainer and lock you'd need Comp 795 retainers and 613 (standard) 614 (+.050). With my setup to get the spring height I wanted (1.750) I used the 614 locks. This was on stock LT1 heads with new stock GM seals that have the spring seat made on them.
I prefer a 10* lock so I figured I'd throw it out there for ya. I have no idea what install height comes out to be with 787 retainers.

He does LS1 and LT1 cam/head packages for super cheap. Really quality work. Stage 3 I believe is $1700 and should bring you up to around 400+ whp. Definitely check out the website.

Definitely do shorter rear end gearing (if you dont care about mpg or you dont daily it)

Port your manifold and get it tuned for a larger tb. Some people say it wont give you any power but I believe otherwise

Bigger throttle body, and figure out how to add a 4" air intake with a 100mm MAF. 100mm MAF requires tuning.

LS1 style air cleaner conversion also seems to be fairly straight forward and gives good gains.
