Default Goodies from Lloyd!!

I love something beautiful!!! It don't get much better than my wife but these are hot!! I'm still awaiting a few things in the mail to get the heads fully assembled and back on the car. I'm excited to say the least.

I'm hoping they work out well for me. Just gonna run them with my old cam this year just to see how it would do but I plan to go solid roller next year. I have some things I'm trying to make happen with the car so we'll see.

Currently my old CM 233/239, .569/.576, 111 that I've run the last 12 years. The cam has always run really good so I wanted to give it a shot until next year when I go solid roller.

Lloyd usually does some excellent work.

I have a set of Assault racing heads he ported on my 11:1 383 Vortec. It runs strong.

LIFT------INTAKE-----EXHAUST
.200----------138-------107
.300----------192-------138
.400----------241-------164
.500----------274-------183
.600----------291-------193
.700----------295-------199

Did he break through the port on that runner?

He did on everyone of them. That's what it took to get the shape he wanted.

I guess it must go into a dry sealed area if he did it on every port.

But even then I would have thought filling the void with epoxy and then cleaning it up would result in less turbulence and a little more flow.

Stock bottom end for now and the cam is an old Combination Motorsports grind based off of XE lobes. I really have no complaints with it, it's a great cam that does everything well and still pulls to the 6800 pill in the MSD, legit making power not just me forcing it to a higher shift point.

I've never hidden my disdain for **** like this. I really hope it works out for you. I would have an issue with epoxied heads on a street car. Before installing them I'd get a pressure test done. They have been known to leak before.

Thanks, sounds like a stout cam! I wonder what you’re car will make on the dyno after you put the heads on
