Default E brake assembly removal

Hey all, I have a 1997 lt1 with rear disk brakes. I need to replace a caliper on the rear and I have no clue how I'm supposed to remove the e brake system to put it on the new caliper. I tried doing some research and no one gave a definitive answer on how they reached that Allen head bolt that is stuck behind all the other stuff. What tools do i need to remove this? A lot of people just said they used an angle grinder but I don't want to destroy the system.

Thanks

Oh yes, let's see if I can remember. There's a pin that goes down through everything and it has an e-clip on the bottom and a nut on the other side. I know you have to remove the nut to knock the pin through the caliper. There's also a big damper bracket that I think has to be removed to help access a bolt or two. I don't recall completely because it's been a couple of months and all of mine is in pieces. Put up a couple of pics and it'll come back to me, sorry.
I think The hard part is getting to the caliper bolt that’s the Allen bolt that tune stupid spring is in the way of and trust me the Allen bolt is tight and it’s got loc-tite on it. I think you hand to wrangle the spring out honestly so that you can get on the bolt really good. The rubber boot on there has an e-clip under it that retains the actuator arm that the spring attaches to. Get that off, get the spring and Allen bolt out and remove The but on the opposite side and the assembly comes off the caliper.

I was able to get the spring out and get access to the Allen bolt, ended up stripping it out because I found that someone had tack welded the bolt to the bracket. I don't wanna ruin the bracket so I'm going to end up taking it to work to use the equipment there in order to professionally remove that... Sometimes I question other people's logic when it comes to this stuff ...

I feel ya, working in a shop I see the things that people do and some folks just shouldn't be allowed to touch cars. The good news is that if the Alan head bolt is tack welded you can remove the slide pin from the other side and it'll have to release the caliper so you won't have all of that bulk In your way. I had to remove my stuff because I couldn't use the e brake stuff with my new rearend because it was hitting the tow loops on the rear. If you happen to need anything I have parts lol. When I put my caliper back on I just used an ordinary caliper bolt so if you have room that's an option or I think I can dig mine out if you need them.
