Default Superchargers

Has anyone ran a supercharger setup? (Centrifugal or Whipple style). Im looking to throw a lil boost onto my LT1 but it seems theres not many options out there. Any adapting methods or easier/cheaper ways I could do this? Thank you!

I have only heard of two people that adapted a twin screw supercharger. One sold his prototype intake in the classifieds several years ago and the other guy hasn't updated his progress in over 10 years. Check the link if you want to see why that isn't a road more travelled.

If you're going to boost, go turbo. It's a bit more work initially but turbos rule the world of boost.

That's a matter of opinion, I've ran them all. Turbo for max power maybe but there are lots of pro's and cons for all types of boost and turbo isn't always the best answer.

In the LTX world you don't have very many options for boost. I'm not even sure if Procharger still makes a kit and most all the other companies have already dropped out of the LTX blower game so unless you're doing something custom they're just aren't many options. Reason I said turbos rule the world of boost is because right now turbo technology is going wild and there's more R&D going into them as well as new parts coming out all the time. Heck most guys will even say that the Chinese turbos right now have become so good they're hard to beat. So it's not a matter of what boost is the best boost and I wasn't proclaiming one to be better than another, idk if there really even is a best boost, it's just whatever works best for your application but when it comes to where the most following is right now and where you're going to get the most ideas and support you can't deny that it's gotta be turbos and that's why I said turbos rule the boost world.
