Optispark?

Default Optispark?

Hi I’m new here. I have a 96 LT4 corvette that I haven’t run in a while. It was running when I put it away(about a year) when I went to get her running again she will not start. I have no injector pulse. I checked it with a noid light Gone through all the voltage and ohm tests (all good) what controls injector pulse on these cars? Is it the optispark? I though if the Opti was bad I’d have no ignition spark? Need help!! Finally broke down and ordered a factory manual but it won’t be here for a week. And I have a carrona vacation, so I’d like to get her running again. Please help! What am I missing?

I did all the tests.all voltages/ohms/ac pulses ok looked at wiring looks ok ohms ok pcm? Do they go bad? Haven’t replaced to many computers over the years. Who can test, rebuild them? Had it tuned by pcm for less years ago.

if you still have a AC Delco opti DO NOT get rid of it if it is bad. Send it to the ebay guy for a rebuild

Tough to trouble shoot over the internet. Often a no start can just be ignition module attached to coil bracket

did you check fuel pressure?

Cars that sit for a year or so invite wire chewing critters.....

check grounds, IIRC the pcm switches ground to pulse the injectors.

Default Screams now!

My baby revs like never before! Found a lot of problems from previous owner. Also found a lot of great things too. Put in a new accel Opti. Battery in back of car had heavy cables going to the front, butt, heavy cable from engine somehow never got connected to the battery cables. Was just running off of small grounds! Took off the intake to get it re powder coated. (Black instead of red) and found AFR 210’s on her! Also has a hydra rev kit! A 58mm
BBK tb, an SLP 3finger air filter, and TPIS headers, and a SPEC(?) clutch setup. I put in a new cam, solid roller (630 lift) springs, and ti retainers. So like I said she screams now. Can’t wait to take her to the drags. But got a new set of 36lb per hr injectors from Bobby at fuel injector conn., and gotta get the pcm reflashed/programmed. Any suggestions? Is there a programmer I could buy that I could tune with?( If I install wide bands)? And thank you all for your help!
this is my first LT4 (I’m a old corvette bbc guy!)
