Best headers for 96 impala Hey guys, I wanted to get some opinionxx Sc on the best headers for the 96 impalas. I’m a big fan of dan Ferros tri-y headers. I had a set on my last impala but they’re kind of pricey. Was wondering if anyone out there knew of any alternative that’s great quality with no issues. Thanks
I've been running the Flowtech Afterburners for about 15 years. A lot of impala guys hate them but I've had zero issues with mine. They WILL require some modifications to your AC lines on the passenger side but aside from that, the installation wasn't bad at all and it was definitely a good performance upgrade for cheap. They're probably not going to give you as much power as Dan's Quad-1's and the Flowtech's are NOT stainless. The overall quality is also far from what you'll get from Dan. You get what you pay for. Do some research on the impala forum and make your own conclusions as to which ones you want. Even though I like my Flowtech's, I would order from Dan if I were doing it again. At the time I got the Flowtechs I was still in college so I couldn't drop $1200+ on headers at the time.

I have the Hooker Super Competition ones on my Cadillac and love them. I have heard some complain about the ABS stuff being too close and what not. But can't speak to that as my Hearse is ABS and TC delete.
