Cruise control and vss wire

Cruise control and vss wire Im stuck at home making phone calls and waiting for calls so cant leave ( dealing with a funeral in the UK, what a mess..) so tinkering with car to keep my mind occupied while in limbo..
Anyways... i picked up a cruise module and will be installing it to the 94 lt1 in the 83 jag, i have the fsm for the firebird that motor came out of, so it tells me all the wiring... however it leaves one thing out, and thats my question, where is the best place to tie into the vss wire? Between trans and pcm? Or between pcm and speedo? Between pcm and speedo would be ideal as i am using the Dakota digital sgi 5e, so i could just loosen the input screw and add second wire to feed the cruise.. I just dont want to create a draw thats going to create issues.. i looked through the fsm best i could, but it doesnt seem to tell me... module came with no harness, so no clues for me there.
