58mm BBK TB idle problems

58mm BBK TB idle problems Put a bbk 58mm on my car and the car seems to idle down albeit slowly before it has warmed up to closed loop to about 1200. But when it warms up to closed loop it likes to idle t about 1800-2000 rpm.
I've read issues about the throttle position sensor but how do you fix this? What should I do to fix my idle?
My car really needs a tune after the TB, 1.6RR, and new lifters. Could this be part of the issue?
I also need an elbow that fits the new TB anyone know what size and where to get one?

Slot the screw holes and put a volt meter to it and adjust to proper voltage. All kinds of writeups on how to do it and what wires to tap into for readings. If you don't have one already, a Haynes manual gives the how to as well. Very handy quick reference guide.

you need to have an ability to monitor IAC counts to properly adjust for an aftermarket TB. Most likely your TB does not have the hole for the idle air circuit, nor does it have the circuit completed.
Slotting the TPS is imo not the way to go about it properly, most aftermarket TBs aren't designed properly for the LT1 since it's just a TPI carryover casting.
