Default 'My engine's toast' update - July

Thought I'd update you guys on what's been happening with the Formula.

I managed to remove just about the entire engine except for the block 'cause I don't have an engine hoist and I'm pretty sure the block would probably be just a little too heavy to take out by hand

Put the radiator cover (flat top black piece) back on. It's there for a reason, to let air flow through your radiator instead of up over it.

I'll definetely be putting a cover over the radiator but it wont be the factory piece. Since I now have so much room behind the radiator due to removing all the AC crap, the radiator is going to be pushed back (towards the front end) a good 4-5 inches. It's goint to be set up completely straight rather than at an angle like it was before. I'll make some brackets that will secure it along the bottom and make a cover for the top out of a sheet of aluminum or something.

good idea road racers try and do that as much as possible to maximize airflow through the radiator. just a thought since you care about looks it seems. during all the down time, get a dremel and polishing wheel and polish the brackets and water pump. heres what thatll look like.
