Headlight Issue- Haven’t Had This One Yet So the headlights on my 95 T/A suddenly started acting strange.
I’ve had A few F Bodies and am familiar with blown fuses for the headlight doors, changing the gears in the motors, etc.
Out of the blue, the headlights on this car will either not open at all or will open just fine or only one will open. The lights are on but they don’t raise. I can hear a click when the lights go on.
No sound of there being power the motor of the one which doesn’t raise. No grinding of a bad gear, etc.
If I slam the hood, sometimes they work fine. Where is the relay for these? I checked the fuses for the headlight doors under the hood and they’re fine. I don’t see any particular relay labeled headlights in the under hood fuse box or the one on the driver side dash.

Can't believe no one has replied yet. The headlight module for Pontiac cars (motorized 'pop-up' headlights) is factory mounted to the plastic parts of the air intake plumbing on the driver's side. Square thing with a flat bottom, wires. Fastened to the factory intake tract with 2 nylon retainers. Most CAI kits have you move this piece into the well next to where the CAI pipe(s) go to the wheel well.
Have a look at the module wiring, check for dirt or corrosion. Open the hood, turn on the lights and go wiggle the wires...
