Only downloadable software I think they have available for OBDII is scanning. You may have to buy a copy of Tunercat or whatever the other popular software was called. PCM Tune or some mess like that.

Be prepared as this is going to cost $$$$.

The programming software for OBDII LT1 PCMs will be JetDST.

For OBDII scanning software I currently recommend ScanXL Pro with GM enhanced parameters.

It's been a few years since I bought the above software, so I would try contacting them before buying.

Option 2 might be to convert to 24x/LS pcm so you could then use either EFI Live or HP tuners. I think both of them can be bought with data loggers/scanners.

Option 3 might be to convert to OBDI. You could then use freescan to scan and Tunercat or TunerPro RT to program.

Does anyone ever use LT1Edit from Carputing these days? I had an old LS1Edit cable that I didn't use anymore. I was able to have my 97 Camaro added for $180 to make a few changes. It's only economical for people that have that stuff sitting around, but it made me wonder how many are still out there gathering dust in a drawer.

Thanks!

Chad

The 93 ECM does not use flash programming, but chips you have to burn. You'll find even fewer choices for that if you stay with it. You kinda waited a while to throw that spoiler out there.

I'd switch to another computer and engine harness.

I use your webpage all the time it's amazing thank you for all the hard work you have put into it for people like me and my wife it's been a life saver for us. So what year ecm do I need for obd1 94-95 ? I still have my 97ecm . I know I would have to change knock sensor if I use it.

94 and 95 LT1 PCMs are the same as far as functionality if you want OBD-I. You have already gotten some other recommendations in this thread if you want to go another route. OBD-I DIY programming is inexpensive, but not many people offer it any more in a paid-for manner. OBD-II is probably used by more people and has more commercial offerings. It's a personal choice.
