Default Best head gaskets

Hello all I'm looking for everyone's input on head gaskets. I just got my head back from the machine shop and they are .003 and. 004 warped but cannot be cut again and my compression ratio will be 13.3:1 with. 039 head gasket. So had anyone got and suggestions on the best gasket? With I be able to get away with mls or do I need to run composite? What brand/ pn.

FYI I'm not buying new heads this year but will be in the next year or 2 so only need to get by for a couple thousand miles.

Too lazy to do the math, but what would be your CR if you were to enlarge the combustion chambers to maybe 60cc's? I am not sure how big you can go with those heads. You don't want to go much more than .040" on your quench. With that kind of cylinder pressure you'll most likely want to run a Cometic MLS. You just have to make absolutely/positively sure the block deck and cylinder seating surfaces are true or you'll spring all kinds of different leaks.

I really don't want to put more money into these heads iv already put 700 in them and don't want to pay someone to open the chambers. I was hoping to just run these heads as is.

Also my deck is zero so I wanted to run .039 to .040 gamey to get a good quench.

Guy, you need to suck it up and buy new heads. You're already running a fairly thick head gasket, Your chambers are too small, and the heads are warped. It's time for new ones

Eh, the way I see it is you may end up paying now or paying later. Especially when it comes to fuel...

If you are really desperate, can you clearance the pistons? Make the valve pockets bigger?
