So after I paid someone to replace my ignition switch & cyl the high beams won’t click off. Trying to figure out exactly what part hits the cup that comes off that allows it to click.
Thought that was a symptom of the stalk going bad(I lost one about 120k on a long gone Formula).. But if they just worked in ur column, who knows. The dimmer switch and ignition switch share the same mounting screws. They might have not noted the position of the dimmer switch when they took the screws out and caused it to be out of adjustment.
I have to physically grasp under the column with my left hand. Put my left thumb on that black and green connector and hold it still. Then pull the lever for high beam/ low beam. I need to get it fixed eventually.
