TPS help A few months ago I changed my tps and everything was fine, well recently the low res code came back after I got the trans swapped on the car. Now the car won't shift until its get very high rpms which i read online could be due to the tps being bad so I replaced it, and nothing is fixed. The old tps would read correctly when the car was in the on position and when i started the engine the reading was all over the place, the new tps only reads 0% or 25%. I've checked connection and its getting 5 volts, checked continuity to pcm from the tps and its also good, I redid the harness months ago and rechecked it and its still in one piece. I'm completely stumped

I once went through 3 bad TPS sensors on the same car in 1 week. Where did you source the sensor? I would look for Delphi or AC/Delco
You should be able to check the TPS with a decent multimeter.. if you can find the specs for the various point to point measurements for eh one you have.
