Nitrous questions Now I've never run nitrous before. Don't need lectures on tuning or detonation none of that. Just need some guidance on whats the best WET nitrous combo I could do. Already have my nitrous kit in. Just looking for information as far as progressive nitrous systems and window switch systems. Or can I use both at the same time. This is a daily driver that will see some occasional street and track racing. Not going bigger then a 300 wet shot. Normally gonna be spraying either a 150 or 200 shot. I'm looking for the BEST and SAFEST way to run my nitrous regardless of budget and pricing. What would I need to make it safe in the aspect of if I miss a gear it won't keep spraying and blow something up. And what would I need to still make it come on during a roll race on the street but also be able to use it to spray out of the hole at the track. Thank you for any advice.

As far as safety, you could get a fuel pressure safety switch wired into the system. Also need colder plugs and something to pull the correct timing when you are spraying. Also would advise upgrading your fuel pump and only using 93 or a higher octane to prevent detonation. The easiest would be having a wot switch and using an auxiliary ignition box as an window switch. I had a Mallory 635(think that's the number) ignition box that controlled timing and the window switch rpms. I know they don't make that box anymore but I think msd makes a controller for those things. I didn't use a progressive system so can't give you any insight on that.
