Default Strictly Opinions!!!!

Here's the story.... LT1 CC503 Only with longtubes spun cam bearing after high rpm run and opti rotor falling off... huge backfire, engine lurch, no oil to heads but oil psi normal, etc.... Engine tore down, confirmed issue. Here is the opinion section.... what would YOU do? Engine is tore down to only the rotating assembly... cam out, heads off, etc... Rebuild or LQ4/LQ9, 5.3, LS1 swap? Let me know your opinion only.... would you rebuild and why OR send it with the LSx? Thanks in advanced!!!!

If T56 and you are going to stay T56, I say keep LT1. Else you spend some good coin changing the tranny up.

also keep in mind the other costs associated with a ls swap. U will need k member, accessories, and steering rack. (Assuming you want to keep power steering)

I like cheap power, so I pick 5.3 turbo.... although its not that cheap at first.... but once you get it setup you can have a very reliable driver that make an easy 600-700Hp
Easiest option would be a good condition 6.0, slap a cam/springs and smaller chamber heads on it with long tubes and call it good. If going that route Id swap that 3000 stall for something closer to 4000 but thats not 100% necessary.
