So I noticed the volt gauge was lower than 13 ... like 10 while driving so I got a new AC Delco alternator. put it in but its not charging ., I did it sunday night and it started raining so I started it . wife said it went right up to where it usally is above 13..didnt drive it. Monday she goes to eat lunch with me and its down again.. What am I missing
Is there a battery light circut. I dont see any battery icon on the dash

 

You need to get yourself a volt meter and see what's going on directly off the alternator and battery instead of depending on the gauge.

 

So the harmonic damper separated and is not spinning the accessories. just changed it a few months ago.
