l83 with 10 speed
Hello Guys,
I bought 2 used complete l83 harnesses and both came with 36 pin tranny connector. The guy from the junk yard told me that one them is from a 10 speed vehicle. However, through out my search I came across an article that said 8 speed and 10 speed tranny connectors are different and one of them is 37 pins. Can some one clarify this for me.
Thank you all,
Al-Sabaa

Hi Al-Sabaa,
Someone in the automatic-transmission section might know about the connectors for a 10- speed vs 8 speed. Hopefully a moderator will see this and move to the right section, tagging @RPM WS6
This section of the forum is focused on the 2nd Gen small block chevy used between 1992-1997, not the newer Gen V LT1 etc engines from 2014 and up.
Best wishes with your project.
