Lt1 autocross ?

Lt1 autocross ? I know we all only ever race straight line however, id like too switch things up and take on some some sharp turns. Does the factory lt1 have any starvation issues when cornering ? Thank you !

No real issues with them. If you're concerned, add an extra quart. Most auto cross courses have turns that aren't tight and pull a lot of lateral Gs. I auto cross my TA it's a ls1, but see not drop in oil pressure.
it's addicting. Always chasing that faster time. Lower it and get some good 200 tread wear tires as first mods. Then have fun.

I've been autocrossing my LT1 for 7 or 8 years. Hundreds of laps without issues on serious tires (NT05, R888, Nankang AR1). I added an MSD for the rev limiter, use synthetic oil, and always make sure it's warm before a run, but that's it from an engine safety perspective. Our courses are tight so I'm often at the top of 1st or on the rev limiter (5900 rpm). No indication of oil starvation but make sure you run with nearly a full tank of gas. Fuel starvation is an issue for me. I don't think I'd add extra oil - I don't know how good the factory windage tray is and I wouldn't want to aerate it with the crank.
